The Useful Awkwardness of Beginning

A passing thought about unfinished work and the freedom of no longer needing to look accomplished.

The beginning is allowed to look like a beginning.

It can be uneven. It can lean temporarily against something stronger. It can contain visible joins, pencil marks and questions nobody has answered yet.

Perhaps this is true of buildings, books and people.
